Julie Bolaños, MSPT

Julie Bolaños, MSPT, is a physical therapy professional with over 29 years of clinical experience. Julie earned her bachelor’s degree from UCLA, and her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the University of California/SFSU Graduate Program. She was a staff PT at Stanford Outpatient Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic before opening her own private practice in 2004. Julie has specialized in manual therapy and brings a broad experience to her practice, which draws upon her extensive PT training and certifications, as well as her experience as an exercise instructor. Julie was a certified Bar Method Instructor for 10 years, and has also recently completed her RYT 200 HR Yoga certification training in Vinyasa yoga, which she utilizes as a rewarding and effective source of injury recovery in her patients. Julie is also currently completing her hours to become a National Certified Pilates Teacher and is excited to add that discipline into her toolbox, to empower patients with injuries to get back to strength and full body movement. Julie loves teaching and spending time, one-on-one, with her patients, to ensure they receive the very highest quality of care.

Julie grew up in Palo Alto, where she enjoyed playing on the high school tennis and badminton teams. An injury she sustained shortly after college sent her to physical therapy. That positive rehabilitation experience motivated her to return to school and obtain her MSPT.

Julie and her husband live on the Peninsula, and have two grown children. Julie enjoys tennis, novels, piano, yoga and pilates, traveling, and hiking with their dog.
