Injury Prevention

One of the biggest disappointments of an athlete or dancer is pouring their heart and soul into training for a performance only to injure themselves mid-season. We prefer to see you before you get injured. We can help you find your weak spots and provide sensible solutions to address them. Some athletes choose to do physical therapy on a weekly or monthly basis to address the little aches before they become big injuries.

Injury Rehabilitation

Every rehabilitation path is personalized to your specific needs and we will stick with you until you are 100% and back to doing the things you love to do. Your Physical Therapist provides their expertise for your entire visit. You will not be left to do your therapeutic exercises on your own or with a PT aide. Your PT will be with you for your whole visit. You also have the option of having your entire treatment in a private room.

Performance Enhancement

Beautiful movement starts from a strong foundation. We perform a detailed movement analysis and collaborate with you to create a personalized exercise program suited to your athletic and artistic needs. We utilize Pilates core strengthening and lengthening to reinforce your foundation and help you get to the next performance level. At On the Move, our Pilates teachers are physical therapists or physical therapy students. This influences the way we teach exercise. We teach exercise with long-term wellness and injury prevention in mind.

By the end of our lessons, your muscles feel more mobile, your core feels more engaged, and you will feel energized, not overworked.
