Jamie Wong, PT, DPT, CFMT, NCPT

Jamie Wong was born and raised in the Bay Area and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UCSF/SFSU in 2014. She devoted herself to gymnastics competing in the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic level 8, and coaching girls and boys recreational gymnastics. Her experience with competitive gymnastics, overcoming chronic injury, and resiliency in sport and believing there is always a path for healing informs her personal approach with her patients. Dr. Wong completed her post-graduate residency in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation at Kaiser Foundation in Vallejo and her Certification in Functional Manual Therapy (CFMT) in 2018 from the Institute of Physical Art. She found her own joy of mindfulness in movement through Pilates as a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) and guides individuals through an educational and motivational movement experience to trust their bodies and feel empowered. She enjoys treating gymnastics and dancers, and her sensitive touch and teaching has helped individuals of all levels with a diversity of orthopedic and neurological conditions. Dr. Wong continues to treat professional performing artists backstage, including the show Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and works with AXIS Dance Company in Berkeley, CA, internationally acclaimed integrated dance company of disabled and non-disabled dancers.
